Korea's Yang Hak Seon and Colombia's Jossimar Calvo impressed at the Korea Cup, an international tournament held Saturday and Sunday in Incheon.

For many, the competition served as a warm-up for the upcoming European championships in Sofia. The host nation also used it as venue warm-up for this year's Asian Games in Incheon. The gymnastics competition takes place Sept. 20-24 at the Namdong Gymnasium.

This weekend's competition at Namdong featured a finals-only format with no qualification. Korean vault superstar Yang Hak Seon headlined the field, which also included 10 other world and Olympic medalists.

Yang did not disappoint the home crowd, debuting his astonishing 3 1/2-twisting Tsukahara en route to the vault gold medal (click here to watch). Yang, the 2012 Olympic champion and 2011 and 2013 world champion, won by nearly a point over European champion Igor Radivilov, 15.925-15.037. American Jake Dalton won the bronze medal with 14.625.

Colombia's Jossimar Calvo was the only double champion, winning gold medals on both parallel bars and high bar.

Greece's Eleftherios Kosmidis, the 2010 world champion on floor exercise, won floor over Yang and his teammate Park Eo Jin.

The pommel horse competition featured the first rematch between 2012 Olympic gold medalist Krisztian Berki and runner-up Louis Smith (Great Britain). Smith, who tied Berki in London but was bumped to silver by a tie-break, this time was golden. Smith (6.9 Difficulty) scored 15.850 to top Berki (15.775 with 6.8 D) and Korea's Shin Dong Hyen (15.075).

On still rings, world bronze medalist Brandon Wynn (USA) just edged Greece's Eleftherios Petrounias, 15.650-15.625. European co-champion Igor Radivilov (15.100) won the bronze.

2011 world bronze medalist Phan Thi Ha Thanh (Vietnam) won women's vault over Korean gymnasts Kim Chae Yeon and Jung Hee Yeon.

Czech gymnasts Kristýna Pálešová and Jana Šikulová went 1-2 on uneven bars, with 2008 Australian Olympian Olivia Vivian finishing third.

Two-time Olympian Vasiliki Millousi gave Greece a second gold medal with the balance beam title. She topped Ukraine's Krystyna Sankova and Poland's Katarzyna Jurkowska-Kowalska.

Paula Plichta and Jurkowska-Kowalska finished 1-2 on floor exercise, with Jung winning another bronze for Korea. Two-time Australian Olympian Lauren Mitchell fell to place fourth.
